Gay Dublin
Dublin’s
gay social scene has seen unprecedented growth in the past few years.
Don’t be surprised to find out you’ve
landed in one of Europe’s liveliest capitals with seven dedicated gay
venues in the city centre, located on a strip from Capel Street on the North
of the river to George’s Street on the South, via Parliament Street
in Temple Bar. If that’s not enough for the gay or lesbian visitor,
there are one-nighter clubs to be found every night of the week in the city,
with several competing for your pink euro at the weekends, and plenty of
gay friendly accommodation too.
Dublin has
a wealth of world-class cuisine and designer shops for you to explore during
your time here. The hospitality, humour and music here, sets Dublin
apart from every other European city!
As you browse through this site you will see that hotels and other gay-friendly premises will be marked as being "Gay Friendly".
We also have gay events listed in our events section.
The best place to find information on
Dublin’s gay scene is via Gay Community News (GCN), which is the country’s
oldest and leading gay publication. Visit their website at www.gcn.ie to
find out what’s on and where, or to download their handy Little Gay
Map of Dublin.
